The Audly Phone
Feedback lights
Every Audly guestbook is equipped with LED lights to let you know what's going on. Many other guestbooks leave a lot of guess work. Is the phone on? Did my message record? Was the phone hung up properly? Audly phones provide active feedback to your guests so they'll always know they're using it correctly.
Versatile battery
In 99% of cases, you won't even need to think about how an Audly guestbook is powered. The internal battery lasts for over 12 hours, and is always charged before you receive it. In the case where you'd prefer to not use the battery, or it malfunctions, Audly guestbooks have 5 different ways to power them.
Great audio, and lots of it
The messages from your loved ones are processed and converted on the best technology for the job. This means the files you receive don't have any buzzing, hissing, or other poor audio qualities that come from poor audio processing. In addition, Audly guestbooks are capable of recording over 100 hours of messages so you'll never miss anything.
Pre-recorded greetings
You have a million things going on leading up to your event, we get it. The last thing you want is to receive an audio guestbook the day before your event and have to figure out how to record your greeting properly. That's why we ask you to record your greeting on your smartphone and send it to us. Your greeting is loaded onto the phone before you even receive it, and you'll never have to worry about someone accidently deleting it.
How do the phones differ?
Since Audly phones are each hand crafted, not every phone is built the same. While there are some obvious differences in things like colour and style, there are some bigger differences in our phones that we've gone ahead and identified for you. Each phone listed below will specify which phone line they are a part of, which is important in how the phone feels, and most importantly, sounds. Make sure you're familiar with the differences before picking your phone!

Capital Line
The phones in the Capital Line are your typical audio guestbook experience. They are newly manufactured phones, meaning they've never been used for a purpose outside of this. They are equipped with new microphones and hardware, which results in a very clear sounding audio message free of any noise or static.
B
Bytown Line
The phones in the Bytown Line are a unique, retro audio guestbook experience. They are phones acquired through a variety of sources like flea markets, garage sales, vintage shops, and more. They sat on someone's table many years ago and have been refurbished and modified into a guestbook. The wiring of the original phone remains unchanged, so these phones result in an older sounding message authentic to what you would've heard from them in their glory days.

Our very first phone. This sleek black classic rotary phone is perfect for any event. It won't steal the show, but it'll fit in nicely to any aesthetic without clashing with your other items.

Bytown Line
This beige, or off-white phone was acquired from a shop called Almonte Vintage. It definitely saw some use in its day, and even came with a photo of someone's kid with a sweet bowl cut. Its tame colour fit in with almost any aesthetic. Just be careful, it's heavier than it looks!

Bytown Line
This unique gem was another find at Almonte Vintage. Butterscotch with a gold underbelly, this pancake phone is sure to catch some eyes at your event. It has a lighter feel to it, but sounds great for an older phone.

Bytown Line
This phone was acquired from Almonte Vintage as well. Originally beige like the Highlander, it was spraypainted by the shop it was at. As a result, it has more of flatter matte look and feel, rather than shiny plastic. It's a heavy one!

This beautiful ornate phone is a stunner in any wedding. It screams class, beauty, and elegance. It is a newly made phone made of a heavy plaster/clay type material, and sounds as great as it looks.

This phone is the exact same model as the March, just pink instead of mint green. A hugely popular wedding colour, this one is sure to fit in with your wedding party.

Luckily you won't be needing a security team for this phone - it's not actually solid gold. Its origins are unknown, but we placed it in the Capital Line based on the push button design and plastic material. Its shiny gold chrome finish is a great statement piece.

Bytown Line
Named after the nightclub of a slightly more royal name than it deserved, this phone is one of a kind. Made entirely of brass, the only plastic on this phone is on the earpiece and microphone. It's guaranteed to draw some attention wherever it's placed. It was owned for over 30 years by an elderly Ottawa resident.

Named after the coolest sign Ottawa's ever seen, this olive green phone is a perfect addition to so many colour schemes. Earthy tones are super trendy right now and for good reason. This phone also has the pleasure of being the heaviest phone in the lineup! Another great Almonte Vintage find.

Bytown Line
Named after the diner that served Ottawa for 55 years, this is certainly the most "out there" phone in our lineup. This phone is actually slightly transluscent, meaning it lights up internally with a neat red glow when the phone is recording.

Named after the beloved Ottawa bakery that served delicious cookies for 36 years, this unique 2-toned phone is a gem. It's origins are unknown, but we have to say it's one of our best Facebook Marketplace transformations to date.

Have guests who can't make it to the wedding? Normally, they unfortunately wouldn't be able to sign your guestbook. With the virtual line add-on with an Audly audio guestbook, your guests can call a toll-free number from anywhere in the world and leave a message for you. This service is totally free with the booking of a physical phone, just be sure to mention it so we can set it up!
