How do I receive the phone?
By default, the phone must be picked in Kanata before the event. However, being a local business, we'll work with each customer to determine the best way to get the phone to you. If you're central or in the west end, we'll likely be able to schedule a delivery.
How far in advance should I book a phone?
We reccommend booking your phone as soon as you finalize the date of your event. New bookings come in all the time, and we can never guarantee a date will be available. For example, Saturdays during the summer would need to be booked months in advance due to the high volume of weddings happening in the Ottawa area.

Do I need to pay a security deposit to book a phone?

When do I need to pay for my rental?
Payment is required upon signing of the rental agreement. Your date is not reserved and your booking is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
Is there a refund if I cancel my booking?
If you canceled more than 48 hours before your event date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your event date, you will only be entitled to a refund of 50% of the booking cost.
Is tax included in my price?
All of our prices are tax inclusive. When you book a phone and we give you your price, it is always the exact amount you will pay.

How do I use the phone?
There is a detailed description of how to use an Audly audio guestbook included in the box. Simply put, your guests just pickup the handset, listen to your pre-recorded greeting, and leave their voice message after the tone. The recording is stopped when the handset is placed back on the holder.
Can I customize the message that plays when guests pick up the phone?

What happens if I damage the phone during my rental period?

After the rental

Anything that happens after your event ends.

How do I return the phone after the rental period is over?
What happens if I return the phone late?
Can I extend my rental period if I need the phone for longer than initially planned?
Will I receive a copy of the audio messages that were recorded during my rental period?
Of course! You'll receive a link to all the files recorded on the phone shortly afer it is returned.
Can I edit or delete the audio messages that were recorded during my rental period?
Once you receive your files, you're free to do whatever you like. Delete them, modify them, share them, it's up to you.
How long will it take for me to receive my audio files after I return the phone?
Your audio files will be delivered to you within 24 hours of us receiving the phone back.
What happens if there is a problem with the audio quality of my recorded messages?
Contact us if you feel the audio quality of your messages is not what you expected. We'll listen to them and determine if there was a problem with the recordings. If this is the case, you'll receive a refund of the rental cost.
How can I provide feedback or suggestions for improving the Audly service?

How long will be files be available to download?
We try to keep your files on the cloud for as long as we can, but due to storage restrictions, we can never guarantee they will be available for any period of time. It is highly recommended you download your files and save them somewhere safe as soon as you receive them.
